BYU announces games with Utah, Utah State and Weber State

PROVO, Utah – BYU athletic director Tom Holmoe today announced future games against in-state foes Utah, Utah State and Weber State.

BYU and Utah have three games scheduled with the series resuming in 2017 in Provo. The Cougars and Utes will play at Vivint Smart Home Arena in the Beehive Classic in 2018, and in 2019 BYU will play at Utah in the Huntsman Center.

The Cougars own a 129-128 all-time record against the Utes in a series that dates back to 1909.

Including a Nov. 30, 2016, matchup at Vivint Smart Home Arena, BYU and Utah State have six games under contract. The Cougars will travel to Logan in 2017 and 2020 while the Aggies will come to Provo in 2018 and 2021. The 2019 game will be part of the Beehive Classic at Vivint Smart Home Arena.

The BYU and Utah State series dates back to 1906 and the Cougars own a 140-92 record against the Aggies. The Cougars have won four straight against the Aggies.

BYU and Weber State have games scheduled for 2016, 2017 and 2018. The Wildcats come to Provo on Dec. 7, 2016, and the Cougars play in Ogden in 2018. The 2017 matchup is part of the inaugural Beehive Classic.

The Cougars are 31-10 all-time against Weber State and have won the last 13 meetings.
