Chatman to transfer from BYU
PROVO, Utah – BYU coach Dave Rose announced today that Jordan Chatman will transfer from the program. He has three years of eligibility remaining.
Chatman is a 6-foot-5 guard from Vancouver, Washington. As a redshirt freshman he helped the Cougars to a 26-11 record and a berth to the NIT semifinals at Madison Square Garden in New York.
In addition to his contributions on the court, Chatman excelled in the classroom. He graduated from BYU in April with a degree in Asian Studies: China emphasis after only two years at the university.
“Jordan is a great student-athlete,” Rose said. “We’re proud of what he achieved on and off the court. We wish him and his family the very best.”
"I would like to thank Coach Rose for the opportunity to play at BYU,” Chatman said. "I wish the best for him, his staff and my former teammates in the future."
