Collinsworth, K&D Rounds advance to PIT semifinals

K&D Rounds vs. Portsmouth Partnership Box Score

PORTSMOUTH, Virginia – Kyle Collinsworth helped lead K&D Rounds to a 91-90 win over Portsmouth Partnership in the first round of the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament on Thursday.

Collinsworth started and totaled seven points, 11 rebounds, two assists and two steals in 20 minutes. All of his points came from the free-throw line as he hit 7 of 8 from the charity stripe.

K&D Rounds shot 45.2 percent from the field, 42.9 percent from 3 and 88.9 percent from the free-throw line. The game featured 13 ties and 21 lead changes. K&D Rounds out-rebounded Portsmouth Partnership 45-37.

K&D Rounds will play in the semifinals tonight at 7 p.m. MT against Norfolk Sports Club. The game will be broadcast on ESPN3.
