BYU looks to even season series with Saint Mary's

BYU vs. Saint Mary's Game Notes

BYU basketball will put its 16-game home win streak on the line when it hosts No. 25 Saint Mary's Thursday at 7 p.m. MST in the Marriott Center. Saint Mary's won the first game between the Cougars and Gaels 85-74 on Dec. 31 in Moraga, California.

The game will be televised live on BYUtv and broadcast live on the Cougar IMG Sports Network, KSL NewsRadio 102.7 FM/1160 AM and BYU Radio – Sirius XM 143. Live video streaming will be available on BYUtv.org.

BYU Storylines

• Jakob Hartsock had a breakout week against Loyola Marymount and Pepperdine. Entering last week, the freshman forward had played a total of 33 minutes and scored 5 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. In wins against Loyola Marymount and Pepperdine he averaged 16.0 minutes, 6.0 points and 4.5 rebounds while hitting 4 3-pointers. He had a career-high 9 points on 3 3s in the Pepperdine win.
• Corbin Kaufusi also reenergized his season last week, posting 12 points against Loyola Marymount and 10 against Pepperdine. He hit 6 of 9 from the field and 10 of 13 from the free-throw line for the week.
• Kyle Collinsworth secured another spot at the top of the BYU record book as he is now the program’s all-time leader in career rebounds. Collinsworth is also first in career assists and second in career steals.
