SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference has named BYU senior guard Kyle Collinsworth its Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for January 11, 2016.

Collinsworth recorded his ninth career triple-double and helped BYU to a home sweep of Santa Clara and San Francisco. Collinsworth averaged 17.0 points, 8.5 assists, 7.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals. He also had an assist to turnover ratio of 5.7 to 1.

Against Santa Clara, Collinsworth totaled 21 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists and two steals. He was 7 of 10 from the free-throw line and was 7 of 16 from the field. While dishing out 10 assists, he had just one turnover in 34 minutes on the floor. It was his ninth career triple-double, extending his NCAA career mark and putting him halfway to his season record of six triple-doubles which he set last year.

On Saturday against San Francisco, Collinsworth finished with 13 points, seven assists, four rebounds, three steals and a block.
