Quotes

BYU head coach Dave Rose

“It’s sad. We let these leads slip away both times, and its just a time for execution. In regulation, we turned it over and the last two times in overtime we turned it over. Those are times when you need big shots and big plays. Guys need to step up and make those shots and plays and we came up a play short tonight”

“Hopefully, we can put it behind us and get on to the next game. We were in this situation last year and our guys bounced back pretty good. So hopefully we can stay with that pattern.”

Slow start:

“We had a really hard time scoring and they scored on the first three possessions. It’s the same guys we watch on film and the report that we have. It seems to come to a tough spot. We have always been a good scoring team to start games and we’re having problems with that on the road. Hopefully we find an answer. The guys are determined and they really want to make this work.”

Kyle Davis

“It was a tough game in the sense that we couldn’t close it out. We just couldn’t make a play down the stretch to win it.”

“The only thing you can do is just move forward. These losses just sting. We have a couple this season that hurt.”

“He’s big and strong, makes good moves, very physical, powerful in the post, it was a battle there between us and best of luck to Harvard moving forward.”
