Haws sets a workout record in Phoenix

Tyler Haws was in Phoenix yesterday for a pre-draft workout with the Phoenix Suns. By all accounts, the workout went well, especially the conditioning test.

Following a tough workout that included a variety of drills, the Suns had the players run up and down the court as many times as they could in three minutes. According to Paul Coro, who covers the Phoenix Suns for azcentral.com and The Arizona Republic, Haws set a Suns workout record by completing 28 3/4 court lengths. That should come as no surprise to Cougar fans as Haws has always been known for his work ethic and conditioning.

Thanks to 'Bright Side of the Sun,' below is an interview with Haws (spelled Hawes... oops) in which he addresses his record-setting run, his experience having served a two-year mission in the Philippines, what he can bring to an NBA team and more.

Here's a quick look inside the workout courtesy the Phoenix Suns.

Finally, here's an article from earlier this week by Darnell Dickson of the Daily Herald about the work Haws is putting in to get ready for pre-draft workouts.
