Quotes from the Cougar IMG Sports Network

BYU head coach Dave Rose

"The first 7 or 8 minutes of the second half were really the difference. Not only the score, but the momentum. They were really good with the ball in our zone in the second half. Their spacing was better and we weren't quite as active. Basket after basket after basket and then it was a game."

Kyle Collinsworth

When did it get away:

"Just defensively, we couldn't get a stop and when they missed a shot we couldn't get a rebound. That was the story of the second half. It's disappointing and embarrassing and we need to fix it."

Halford's play:

"Skyler is an everyday guy. He brings energy to every practice and every game. He's consistent for us and thats what makes him so good."

Stacy Davis:

"The plan was to bring a double, but he got offensive rebounds and second chances all the time. When he'd miss it he'd get it back. We just couldn't keep him off the glass."

Missing Chase:

"Obviously, we had our chances this game. We were up huge and we should have won it. But whenever a key guy like that goes down, you want him to play. There's shots he would have hit and plays he would have made. There's no excuses. We should have won and we didn't."

Focus on LMU:

"It's tough, but you've just got to move on and get ready for Saturday. You can't replay this game. We've got to move on to Saturday and get our minds right."
