Quotes

BYU head coach Dave Rose

"Tonight was pretty magical as far as watching guys come in and get an opportunity and respond in a positive way with that opportunity. When you have a surprise and a guy doesn't play, there are going to be opportunities for guys and that's how we presented it to the team. When we called upon them tonight they were just ready to go. Andrus had a big 3 and gets a nice bounce pass and lays it in and Sharp gets an offensive rebound and scores a bucket. Skyler was terrific from the get-go in his position starting for Anson. I'm just happy for our team that these guys could respond with a win here."

Kyle's triple-double:

"I don't think we're to the point where we're going to expect Kyle to get a triple-double every night. He knows that his role, especially right now when things are patchwork that he's got to have a great night and Tyler has to have a great night and Chase has to come along. Anson has been really, really consistent and Skyler stepped in there and did exactly what Anson has been doing for us, plus a little bit more."

"I don't think we can expect Kyle to get a triple-double, but he's going to have play helping our team all those ways for us to continue to win."

Skyler in starting lineup:

"I want to keep that flow of the rotation going. We took Anson out of that sixth man role and now we've taken Skyler out of that sixth man role, but so far we're getting good play from a lot of guys especially tonight."

Kyle Collinsworth

"This was a huge game for us. We lost here last year and I knew I had to give it my all down the stretch and get us a lead."

Playing without Anson:

"He's such a mismatch nightmare. They usually have a big guy guarding him and he can get to the rim easy. We missed that a little bit. Props to our teammates. We had some big guys step up, like Ryan Andrus and some other guys and we finished the game well."

Knowing if you're on pace for a triple-double:

"It's always hard to tell. Assists, rebounds, you don't know, then all of a sudden people are freaking out saying 'One more, one more, keep going, keep going, keep going.' I never know. I just try to play my game and when I'm on the floor just play hard. Credit to my teammates they hit shots and spread the floor and it's easy to find them."
