Quotes from the Cougar IMG Sports Network

BYU head coach Dave Rose

Ball movement and good shots:

"It's really fun to watch because they're on attack and they're so unselfish the ball is moving from place to place. We've got a handful of guys that are playing with such great confidence. Then it kind of spreads to the other guys."

"It all stems from us shooting the ball so well, but in reality those shots are coming from really good defensive play. We get a clean stop and we can move it and we race that thing up the floor and the ball doesn't stick."

"It's contagious, but it's something right now that is really fun to watch. Hopefully, we can continue to find ways to attack and use all our offensive weapons that we have."

Chase's confidence:

"The thing I really like about him is he's such a confident guy and that confidence can wear off and rub off on other players. He and Anson are roommates and really close and the two of them have some real good chemistry between the two of them. Tonight they were 9 of 13 from 3."

Road trip:

"To see this happen in back-to-back in road games is so rare. I like this group and their mindset. This road trip is a little bit different because we're out of school. They've got a lot of time to spend together and kill while they're waiting for the next game. I think they're free and loose and confident, but last year we had the same road trip and it didn't work out that well."

Kyle Collinsworth

Road win:

"Road games are huge and it's good for us to win two big games on our first road trip to show we can go on the road and win."

Blowout wins:

"The biggest thing is we got stops and were able to get clean rebounds. We're able to push the ball up and we're off running."

Getting open shots:

"We're getting open looks and great shots. In transition, they have a hard time finding all the shooters... It's tough to guard when the big guys are behind me and I'm dribbling up and we've got an advantage."

Toolson's hot shooting:

"He's in a great groove. He's hitting his shots and playing with confidence."
