PROVO, Utah – BYU athletics announced that an additional session of the Basketball Skills & Agility Development Clinic has been added to its sports camps lineup.

The new session will be held Friday and Saturday, July 11-12, from 9 a.m. to noon in the Smith Fieldhouse. The first session, which will be held June 27-28, has sold out.

The clinic is designed to teach and inform campers on how to become a better basketball player, improve their speed, agility and explosiveness and take their game to the next level. BYU strength and conditioning coach Bob Medina and director of basketball operations Cody Fueger will conduct the two-day clinic.

Medina is a former NBA strength and conditioning coach with more than 20 years of experience with the Portland Trailblazers and the Seattle Supersonics. The teams Medina worked with advanced to the NBA Finals once, the Western Conference Finals four times and won six division titles. Before working in the NBA, Medina served as the strength and conditioning coach for UNLV men’s basketball for six seasons. During that time, the Rebels advanced to the Final Four three times and captured the 1990 NCAA national title.

Fueger has worked in college basketball for the last 12 years and been a member of coaching staffs at five different NCAA Division I institutions. He began his career as a video coordinator and student assistant at the University of Utah and has since served as the director of basketball operations at Louisiana Tech, UC Riverside and Utah State before coming to BYU in 2013.
