Haws receives NABC All-District honor
PROVO, Utah – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) named BYU's Tyler Haws to its District 9 First Team on Wednesday. It is the second straight year Haws has been named to the All-District team.
Haws, a junior guard, averages 23.4 points per game and led the West Coast Conference in scoring for the second straight season. Haws is currently sixth in the nation in scoring and has moved into the top five in career scoring at BYU with 1,901 points. Haws also earned WCC Player of the Year and was named to the All-WCC Team for the second straight season. The Alpine, Utah, native averages 23.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1 steal per game. Haws also leads the team in free throws made, attempted and free throw percentage.
