Vote for BYU in the Sweet 16 of NCAA 6th Fan contest

INDIANAPOLIS – Thanks to you the fans, BYU has advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA 6th Fan contest, a nationwide online competition to determine which Division I school has the most school pride and supportive fans. Cougar fans can vote for BYU and learn all the details  at www.ncaa.com/6thfan, including how to win great fan prizes. By voting for the Cougars, fans can help BYU be awarded over $100,000 in general scholarship contributions.

The Cougars are competing against Western Carolina University in the Sweet 16 between Feb. 17 and Feb. 23. The school with the most votes will advance to the Elite 8. By advancing to the Sweet 16, BYU has been awarded $10,000 in general scholarship funds.

BYU fans can vote now at www.ncaa.com/6thFan by casting votes directly, or votes can be submitted through ncaa.com to Facebook and Twitter. Fans also can vote directly on Twitter by Tweeting or Retweeting the the #6thFan and #BYU hashtags.
