Fields announced for Boom Shakalaka contests

PROVO, Utah – Boom Shakalaka: The BYU Basketball Showcase is just nine days away. Today we unveil the lineups for the three events: the 3-point shootout, the skills challenge and the dunk contest.

3-Point Shootout

The 3-Point Shootout will feature six shooters who will have 60 seconds to take 25 shots from downtown. They will compete for two spots in the championship round. The competitors are:

Skills Challenge

For the Skills Challenge, players from the men’s squad will team up with a member of the women’s basketball team and a fan to test their ball handling, passing and shooting abilities. The team that completes the obstacle course in the best time will be crowned the champions. The competitors from the men’s team are:

Dunk Contest

The Dunk Contest doesn’t need much explanation. Four contestants will do their best to impress the judges with their most athletic and creative dunks. The top two dunkers will square off in the championship round. The dunkers are:
