Cusick earns WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention honors
SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- BYU senior guard Craig Cusick has received West Coast Conference All-Academic Honorable Mention honors, the league announced on Friday. Cusick earned WCC All-Academic honors in 2011-12.
Cusick, a native of Orem, Utah, is an accounting major and carries a 3.5 GPA. This season Cusick is averaging 4.3 points, 2.4 points and 2.2 assists. He is shooting .406 from including, including a WCC-best .652 in league games.
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to his team.
