BYU head coach Dave Rose
"We couldn't keep them out of that pick and roll. When it came down to making big plays, they made them. Dellavedova is an amazing player and he leads that team. We thought we had a good game plan coming in and could keep it close, and we really were so close. A couple defensive lapses, though, and it's gone. We lost it."

"I thought we competed together for all 40 minutes - there were a few minutes down at the end when we lost that though. Guys were encouraging each other in the huddle, supporting each other - I really believe the feeling among the guys was different tonight."

"It's a lot easier to grow as a team when you win, not after a loss. And it's a shame because I thought the guys played tough tonight. We just need to spend this next week getting ready for the tournament, we still have a lot of games to play and the guys need to be ready."

Brandon Davies
"This comes down to the fact that we had a lot of chances but didn't make the plays when we needed to. Little mistakes kept adding up and, especially at the end of the game, we had some that really hurt us. We were making big stops but then in transition we'd give it up and they would take the momentum right back."

"Tyler was getting a lot of attention so, to try and weaken the pressure, we had to get the ball inside and try to find another way to score. There are a couple plays tonight I wish I could get back and some I wish I had finished on. It was a tough game."

"They were really patient on offense and came up with a lot of baskets late in the shot clock, so we really had to grind on defense. We have to keep working."
