PROVO, Utah (Aug. 21, 2012) — BYU today announced plans for a new tailgate area for the 2012 home football season. The new plan provides tailgating space in the parking lot just north of the BYU Broadcast Building and additional RV parking north of LaVell Edwards Stadium.

“The goal was to create a centralized location that gives Cougar Nation more space to enjoy the pregame experience with friends and family,” said BYU director of athletics Tom Holmoe. “Just as with the addition of the new scoreboards, it’s all part of a continual effort to improve the game-day experience.”

Below are some details about the new tailgating area in Lot 20. Please note these modified tailgating policies apply only to Lot 20. Those interested in tailgating in other parking lots must following university tailgating policies found online at BYUtickets.com.
