"The Flag Bearer" Video Wins Ultimate SAVVY Award

INDIANAPOLIS - BYU Football video coordinator Lane Olson and his staff recently earned the Ultimate SAVVY Award from the Collegiate Sports Video Association for the creation of a BYU recruiting piece entitled "The Flag Bearer."

The CSVA held its annual conference last week in Indianapolis. One of the highlights of the conference is the SAVVY Awards, given in three categories: recruiting, motivational and highlights. Over 75 videos were submitted from different universities throughout the country, including Stanford, LSU, Oregon, Florida and West Virginia.

Winners from the three categories are then voted on for the top award, The Ultimate SAVVY. BYU also won the Best Recruiting SAVVY Award and then went on to win the top overall honor.

The Annual CSVA Conference plays a pivotal role in the sports video community. It is the premier event to network with the top video coordinators in the industry, keep up to speed with the latest trends and technologies and to share ideas.
