Practice Continues Following Spring Scrimmage
PROVO, Utah - The BYU football program began its final week of spring ball with an indoor run through on Monday.
While the Cougars' skipped their usual 11-on-11 team drill at the end of the session, players stepped up during skeleton drills. Linebacker Spencer Hadley picked off a pass in the initial series. In the second, quarterback Taysom Hill went deep down the field to Skyler Ridley who made an over-the-shoulder catch for a score.
Ammon Olsen also contributed on offense, connecting with Dallin Cutler for a 35-yarder that went for another touchdown.
The Cougars also spent time in 7-on-7 honing the short passing game to the side and over the middle to backs and receivers.
BYU head coach Bronco Mendenhall announced that the Cougars would not practice again in pads for the rest of the week, which includes a practice on Wednesday and a final session on Friday.
