PROVO, Utah -- BYU senior offensive lineman Matt Reynolds continues to receive preseason All-America accolades as three prominent college football preview publications have named the Cougar left tackle as a first-team All-American.

Athlon Sports, Lindy's Sports and Sporting News each recognized Reynolds as a Preseason All-American First Team member in their 2011 season previews. An Outland Trophy and Lombardi Award candidate, Reynolds enters his senior year as one of the nation’s top lineman after deciding not to enter this year’s NFL Draft. A three-year starter and two-time first-team all-conference honoree, Reynolds also received Preseason All-America Second Team honors in Phil Steele’s College Football Preview.

Lindy's tabbed Reynolds as the second-best tackle in the country while Phil Steele placed him as the fifth-best tackle. Athlon and Lindy's also listed the BYU offensive line as the 10th-best overall unit in the nation. In addition to Reynolds, the Cougars return three other starters in senior center Terence Brown, junior left guard Braden Hansen and junior right tackle Braden Brown.

BYU is slated to begin its first season of independence and partnership with ESPN beginning Sept. 3 at Ole Miss. The Cougars face opponents from the Southeastern Conference, Big 12, Pac-12, Conference USA, Western Athletic Conference, Mountain West Conference and Big Sky.

Season tickets are now available through the Marriott Center Ticket Office (801-422-BYU1) or online at BYUtickets.com. Season ticket packages reflect the team’s seven-game home schedule in 2011, one more contest than last year, with season ticket package per-game prices staying the same as the 2010 season.
