Hill Relieved of Coaching Duties at BYU
PROVO -- BYU head football coach Bronco Mendenhall today announced that defensive coordinator and secondary coach Jaime Hill has been relieved of his duties as an assistant coach on the football staff.
Hill came to BYU in 2006 as a defensive secondary coach and was later named defensive coordinator in 2008.
Mendenhall will take over the defensive coordinator responsibilities and indicated that graduate assistant Kelly Poppinga will assume responsibility as a defensive coach on the staff for the remainder of the season.
