2010 BYU Football Schedule Finalized

PROVO -- With the Atlantic Coast Conference and ESPN announcing their television plans today, BYU's 2010 football schedule has been finalized.

The Cougars will face the ACC's Florida State in their third game of the season on Sept. 18 in Tallahassee, Fla. at 3:30 p.m. ET on ESPNU. The game against the Seminoles will be BYU's first-ever trip to Tallahassee and its first football game televised on ESPNU.

BYU will also appear on the ESPN Networks when it plays against Utah State on Oct. 1. The game in Logan will be broadcast on ESPN at 6 p.m. MT.

BYU's other nonconference telecasts include home games with Washington on CBS College Sports Network on Sept. 4 at 5 p.m. MT and Nevada on The Mtn. on Sept. 25 at 4 p.m. MT.

In all, the Cougars will play 11 of 12 games on a Saturday in 2010 with the lone exception being a Friday night contest with Utah State on Oct. 1. BYU will appear on the ESPN Networks, VERSUS and CBS College Sports Network twice apiece with seven contests being broadcast on The Mtn., including a simulcast with CBS C of the BYU-Utah game.
