Why did I choose to play football over other sports: it seemed natural to me.

Before a football game, I: meditate and listen to music.

How did I spend my off-season: losing weight and conditioning.

Who is the best player I’ve ever faced: Ray Feinga.

What would I like to do sometime in my life: visit Tonga and go on a mission with my wife.

One place I would like to visit: Tonga or New Zealand.

Who has had the greatest influence on my football career and why: My brothers, all three took state.

What do I want to be doing 20 years from now: Helping out troubled families and marriages.

How did I select my jersey number: Looked up to Bryant Young growing up (No. 97 with 49ers).

What is my favorite hobby or activity away from football: Basketball or movies.

What is the best book I’ve ever read: The Book of Mormon, of course.

People say I look like: My cousin Fui Vakapuna, but I know I look better :)

What is my most memorable athletic achievement or moment: Winning defensive MVP in the JC national finals.

My most interesting class I’ve taken at BYU: Professor Goodsell, Sociology 311.

My advice to youngsters: Be yourself and let no one dictate who you are.

If I had to give up all of my possessions except one, what would be the one thing I kept and why: probably my scriptures because it’s been the only possession that has withstood all of my trials and struggles in my life.

If I were hosting you on a recruiting visit to Provo, the most impressive thing I’d have to show you is: LaVell Edwards Stadium, because of the rich history and tradition that has been played there.

If I were on “Who Wants to be a Millionaire,” the person I’d call for my lifeline is: my professors and then take the money.

If I could play another position, what would it be: fullback.

One rule I’d change in college football is: Roughing the passer.

If I could invite any three people to dinner, who would they be: My wife and my parents.

On game day my friends and relatives: come and support me and the team.
