PROVO -- The deadline to request ticket to through the Marriott Center Ticket Office for BYU's season opener against Oklahoma is this Wednesday, April 29. Any ticket requests after this date from other ticket sources are not guaranteed to be in the BYU fan seating sections.

Ticket requests can be made by calling the Marriott Center Ticket office at 801-422-BYU1 or 1-800-322-BYU1. Online orders are not available in an effort to reduce ticket costs as much as possible for Cougar fans. There is no limit to the number of tickets in a single order.

Submitting a request does not guarantee tickets to the game. Cougar Club members will be given priority purchasing opportunities, with seating availability and location based on donor level. After the April 29 deadline, ticket requests will then be allocated based on Cougar Club donation levels and date of request. Fans can join the Cougar Club, or upgrade their membership level, by calling 801-422-BLUE (2583)

The following four ticket levels/locations are available for the game:

Reserved: $51.75

Reserved: $82.50

Club: $102.75

Club areas are located in the best viewing areas and are fully climate controlled with high-end food stations, flat-screen televisions and wide, cushioned seats. The main concourse club has patio areas overlooking the field to provide both an indoor and outdoor premium experience.

All children, including infants, will require a ticket. With the game being played at a neutral site, the Dallas Cowboys determined the pricing for this event.

Tickets will be confirmed via email. Please make sure that your email is current. Customers will be notified prior to May 8 about the status of their tickets request. Tickets cannot be sent to PO Boxes. Please ensure that the Marriott Center has a valid street address to which to direct your tickets.

BYU will open the 2009 football season on Sept. 5 against Oklahoma in a historic game being played at the Dallas Cowboys’ new stadium in Arlington, Texas. As two of only seven teams to win 10 or more games each of the last three seasons, the Cougars and Sooners will be featured in the first college game played in the new stadium. Game time has not yet been determined.

The Labor Day weekend contest will be televised on either ABC or ESPN as part of the second-annual ESPN Kickoff Week. Last year Oklahoma played in the BCS Championship game and finished No. 5 in the final rankings while BYU finished the season ranked No. 21.
