Frisch, Johnson Selected in NFL Draft; Feterik, Gray Signed Free-Agent Contracts

PROVO -- Following All-American Rob Morris' first-round selection in the NFL Draft on Saturday, defensive end Byron Frisch was selected in the third round (93rd overall pick) by the 1999 AFC Champion Tennessee Titans. Offensive lineman Matt Johnson was the ninth pick (138th overall) in the fifth round on Sunday and will join BYU teammate Rob Morris in Indianapolis.

This year's draft marks the fifth time since 1990 three or more BYU players have been selected in the NFL Draft, including the third straight season in which three former Cougars have been selected.

Quarterback Kevin Feterik will be heading to Seattle as a free agent, while cornerback Brian Gray has also signed a free-agent contract with Cincinnati.
