Morris, Olsen Tagteam on COMPAQ National Play of the Week
PROVO, Utah -- The Rob Morris forced-fumble and Hans Olsen recovery for a touchdown in the third quarter of last weekend's game at San Diego State was selected today as the COMPAQ College Defensive Play of the Week.
With last weekend's game at San Diego State still in jeopardy early in the third quarter, BYU middle linebacker Rob Morris broke through the Aztecs' offensive line and snared quarterback Jack Hawley, forcing him to fumble the ball in the direction of BYU defensive lineman Hans Olsen. Olsen collected the offering and rumbled 24-yards in to the endzone to give BYU a 20-7 lead and the momentum to win its eighth game of the season, improving to 5-0 in Mountain West Conference action.
