Hall honored as Manning Award Stars of the Week for a second time
NEW ORLEANS — For the second time during the 2022 college football season, BYU quarterback Jaren Hall has been honored as one of the Manning Award Stars of the Week.
Hall completed 29 of 42 passes for 377 yards and three touchdowns in BYU's 31-28 win on the road at Boise State. He also ran for 83 yards and connected on a six-yard touchdown pass to Puka Nacua on fourth-down with just 1:46 remaining to seal the Cougar victory.
In 10 games, Hall has completed 218 passes (10th nationally) for 2,622 yards (13th) and 24 touchdowns (9th).
Fans can now go to the Allstate Sugar Bowl Facebook page and vote for Hall as the Manning Award Quarterback of the Week by liking his photo. Voting closes on Thursday at 10 a.m. MDT.
In addition to the Manning Award, Hall has been named a candidate for several other national awards including the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, Maxwell Award, Davey O’Brien, Walter Camp Player of the Year Award and the CFPA National Performer of the Year Award. He was also named to the Pro Football Network Top 100 College Football Players list and is on the watch list for Senior Bowl.
