Kickoff time set for BYU-Arkansas on Oct. 15
PROVO, Utah — The game time has been set for the BYU versus Arkansas matchup at LaVell Edwards Stadium on Oct. 15. The No. 16-ranked Cougars will face the No. 25 Razorbacks from the Southeastern Conference at 1:30 p.m. MDT (3:30 p.m. EDT) on ABC or ESPN.
Previously the two schools have competed in baseball, basketball, soccer, women’s tennis and women’s volleyball, but have never met in football.
The Cougars are 4-1 on the season while the Razorbacks are 3-2. Arkansas has played three top 25 teams in 2022, including a win over No. 23 Cincinnati and losses to No. 23 Texas A&M and No. 2 Alabama. The Crimson Tide moved up to No. 1 after defeating Arkansas on Saturday. BYU has played two top 25 teams, with a win over No. 9 Baylor at home and a loss to No. 24 Oregon on the road. The Ducks are now No. 12 in both polls.
The Cougars will face Notre Dame in a neutral site game at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Saturday, while the Razorbacks will play at No. 23 Mississippi State.
