Hall honored as a Manning Award Star of the Week

NEW ORLEANS — BYU junior quarterback Jaren Hall was honored today as one of the Manning Award Stars of the Week for the fourth week of the 2022 college football season. 

Hall completed 26 of 32 passes for 337 yards and four touchdowns in BYU's 38-24 win over Wyoming. He completed a pass to eight different receivers and also rushed for 17 yards in the win. 

Fans can now go to the Allstate Sugar Bowl Facebook page and vote for Hall as the Manning Award Quarterback of the Week by liking his photo. Voting closes on Thursday at 10 a.m. MDT.

In four games, Hall has completed 103 of 144 passes for 1,164 yards and nine touchdowns. His completion percentage of 71.5 is currently ranked 15th in the nation. 

Prior to the season, Hall was named to the watch list for the Manning Award, sponsored annually by the Allstate Sugar Bowl. The list included 30 of the top quarterbacks in the nation heading into the 2022 season. Hall was also named to the preseason watch list for the Davey O’Brien Award, Maxwell Award and the Walter Camp Player of the Year Award.
