2022 Fall Camp: Gallery, National Recognitions and Cougar Kickoff
PROVO, Utah — BYU football completed its ninth practice of fall camp on Monday as national media recognized the Cougars with a preseason Top 25 ranking and named offensive lineman Blake Freeland a preseason first-team All-American.
Freeland is the second BYU player along with fellow offensive lineman Clark Barrington to earn preseason All-American honors this year. In being recognized by The Associated Press in preseason rankings, the Cougars received their first preseason ranking as a program since 2009. As camp continues this week, fans will have the opportunity to meet members of the football team at the annual Cougar Kickoff event taking place Wednesday evening. In addition to football, student-athletes from a variety of other BYU teams will be present for pictures and autographs at the Cougar Kickoff.
