2020 NFL DRAFT APR 23-25

The 2020 NFL Draft will take place in a fully virtual format this weekend due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 85th annual draft gets underway on Thursday night and continues on Friday in prime time before concluding on Saturday afternoon. Undrafted NFL prospects will be available to sign as free agents on Saturday following the draft.

Former BYU players, including defensive backs Austin Lee and Dayan Ghanwoloku, running back Ty'Son Williams and wide receivers Aleva Hifo and Micah Simon, join other Cougar teammates and many of the top college players across the country to see what opportunities await them as NFL clubs utilize the annual draft and post-draft signings to add to their teams.

To ensure compliance with current government regulations and other health safeguards related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the NFL will run a fully virtual draft this week with league and team personnel conducting draft operations remotely from their homes. The NFL offices in New York City have been closed since March 13 and all of the league's various team facilities have been closed since March 26. This year's draft was originally scheduled to take place in Las Vegas.

The first round of the draft begins Thursday at 8 p.m. EDT/6 p.m. MDT. Selections continue on Friday at 7 p.m. EDT/5 p.m. MDT with the second and third rounds before finishing Saturday with rounds 4-7 starting at noon EDT/10 a.m. MDT.

NFL Draft-A-Thon

In an effort to make a difference and unite for COVID-19 relief, this year's draft will also feature a three-day virtual fundraiser called the NFL Draft-A-Thon. Fans are encouraged to join players, teams and communities around the country for this livestream hosted by Rich Eisen and Deion Sanders with special guest Kevin Hart and many more. Fans can join the experience live on Facebook, Twitter, Twitch and YouTube on the official NFL accounts as well as NFL.com and the NFL app.

Live TV Coverage

Broadcast network ABC and cable outlets ESPN, ESPN Deportes and NFL Network will provide live coverage of the three-day draft. ESPN and NFL Network will combine to offer a singular presentation across both networks, while ABC will present its own distinctive, prime-time telecasts on Thursday and Friday in addition to simulcasting the ESPN and NFL Network telecast on Saturday. ABC will broadcast all three days of the draft for the second straight year. Overall, the 2020 NFL Draft marks the third consecutive year all seven rounds will be televised over a national broadcast channel in addition to the extensive coverage provided on cable networks (see schedule below).

Streaming, Radio & Social Media

Live streams of the draft are also available via mobile devices, computers and connected TV devices by authenticating with participating TV providers. In addition, the round-by-round coverage can be heard through participating radio providers, including ESPN Radio, SiriusXM and Westwood One.
