BYU vs. Hawaii in 2019 SoFi Hawaii Bowl

HONOLULU – The BYU football team arrived in Honolulu Friday evening for the start of bowl week at the 2019 SoFi Hawai'i Bowl.

The Cougars will play the hometown Hawai'i Rainbow Warriors on Christmas Eve, Tuesday, Dec. 24 at 3 p.m. HST/6 p.m. MST at Aloha Stadium on ESPN.

The week will be filled with bowl prep, local outdoor activities and cultural experiences. The team met Friday morning and began the trip to the Islands for bowl week. Upon arrival players and coaches enjoyed a welcome by hotel staff and locals and then picked up their SoFi Hawaii Bowl backpacks, Aloha shirts and other gifts.

Saturday brought both rain and fire as the Cougars practiced in the rain to begin the day and later enjoyed a Royal Hawaiian La'au to end it.

Sunday proved to be a memorable day in Hawai'i that included a visit to the Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor.

Monday BYU shared the Christmas spirit and talked to the media one last time before conducting its final practice of the 2019 season.

Check back each day before the game for updates on the team's preparations and plans leading up to the game.
