BYU and Utah Extend Football Series

PROVO, Utah — BYU and Utah have extended their home-and-home football series another two years through 2024, both schools announced today. The two teams were already contracted to play through 2022. Future BYU-Utah football games in the rivalry are scheduled as follows:
 
Aug. 29, 2019, Provo
Sept. 3, 4 or 5, 2020, Salt Lake City
Sept. 11, 2021, Provo
Sept. 3, 2022, Salt Lake City
Sept. 16, 2023, Provo
Sept. 7, 2024, Salt Lake City
 
Since 1922, when the Cougars began playing intercollegiate football, BYU and Utah have played 93 times with Utah holding a 58-31-4 series advantage. Kickoff times and broadcast plans for future games will be announced at a later date. For information on BYU football visit BYUcougars.com.
