BYU enjoys successful practice and signing day on Wednesday
BOISE, Idaho – BYU football balanced bowl practice and a big recruiting day on Wednesday in Boise.
Being the first day of the December early signing period, Wednesday morning and early afternoon featured the news of 14 recruits signing to become the newest members of the BYU football program. Seven members of the team were also honored as selections on the 2018 Phil Steele All-Independent Team.
During the day the team prepared for its matchup with Western Michigan on Friday with film sessions and meetings before a team lift and practice session at the Caven-Indoor Practice Facility on the campus of Boise State. Later in the day the team had the opportunity to visit the gift suite to select bowl gifts provided by the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.
The team will conduct its final day of preparations on Thursday in advance of Friday’s matchup against the Western Michigan Broncos.
