PROVO, Utah — BYU Athletics will conduct the first of two spring Fan Fest events this Saturday, April 21, when the Cougars travel to meet fans in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

The Waterfront at Snake River Landing (located at 1220 Event Center Drive, Idaho Falls, ID 83402) is the site of Saturday’s Fan Fest in Idaho Falls. Sponsored by America First Credit Union and Sagicor Life Insurance, the two-hour event on Saturday begins at 1 p.m. MDT and will feature members of the BYU football, men’s basketball, women’s volleyball and women’s basketball teams. Cosmo and the BYU cheer squad will also be on hand to meet and greet fans before the event concludes at 3 p.m.

Ticket information, BYU Store fan merchandise and BYU food concessions, including Cougar Tails and BYU Creamery ice cream, will also be available.

This is the sixth-straight season BYU has traveled to conduct Fan Fest events at various locations. BYU Fan Fests provide fans the opportunity to meet BYU coaches and athletes in similar fashion to the annual August Cougar Kickoff held each year in Provo for local fans. These events allow fans the chance to interact with coaches and student-athletes, including getting autographs and taking photos, while also enjoying other games and festivities such as a balloon artist, free face painting, inflatables, team posters and other BYU prizes.

BYU coaches and student-athletes will also conduct a Fan Fest in Mesa, Arizona, on Saturday, May 5 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. MST (12-2 p.m. MDT). Sponsored by America First Credit Union, Sagicor Life Insurance and Quick Quack Car Wash, the Mesa Fan Fest will be held at Pioneer Park (located at 526 E Main St, Mesa, AZ 85203). A contingent of BYU coaches and student-athletes will travel to meet fans in the state where BYU opens the 2018 football season when the Cougars face the Arizona Wildcats in Tucson on Sept. 1.

BYUtv will also be in Arizona on May 5 to bring all of Cougar Nation a live look at the atmosphere and festivities of a Fan Fest in a special two-hour BYU Sports Nation broadcast on BYUtv and BYU Radio/Sirius XM 143.  The special broadcast will feature interviews by Jarom Jordan and Spencer Linton with BYU coaches and athletes. The two-hour broadcast begins at 11 a.m. MST/PDT (noon MDT, 1 p.m. CDT, 2 p.m. EDT).
