PROVO, Utah — Brigham Young University and NC State University today announced the schools have agreed to a home-and-home football series for the 2024 and 2030 seasons.

The Cougars and Wolfpack will meet for the first time in football at Carter-Finley Stadium in Raleigh, North Carolina, on Nov. 9, 2024, with the second game being played at LaVell Edwards Stadium on Aug. 29, 2030.

“I really like this home-and-home series with NC State,” said BYU director of athletics Tom Holmoe. “The game in Raleigh provides a unique late-season travel opportunity for our football program, and it’s great to bring another ACC opponent to Provo.”

NC State has been playing football since 1892. The Wolfpack has won 11 conference titles and been to 31 bowl games, including last season’s 52-31 victory over Arizona State in the Sun Bowl. NC State has finished in the final polls in 16 seasons, with a program-best No. 9 finish in the 1974 Coaches Poll. The program has had six Consensus All-Americans and five have been inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.

Coached by Kalani Sitake, BYU has been playing varsity football since 1922 and ranks No. 7 among FBS programs in total victories over the past four decades. The Cougars captured the 1984 national championship and have earned 35 bowl invitations and won 23 conference titles during their history. The program also boasts 13 Consensus All-Americans, seven members of the College Football Hall of Fame and 10 recipients of major individual awards, including the Heisman Trophy, Maxwell Award, Sammy Baugh Trophy, Davey O’Brien Award, Outland Trophy and Doak Walker Award.

Kickoff times and broadcast plans will be determined at a later date. For more information on BYU football, visit BYUcougars.com.
