Adam Pulsipher named to CoSIDA Academic All-District Team
PROVO, Utah - BYU linebacker Adam Pulsipher was named to the 2017 CoSIDA Academic All-District 8 Football Team on Thursday.
The 2017 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District Football Team recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. District 8 includes Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Canada.
Pulsipher, a junior in football eligibility, already graduated with a degree in finance and a 3.83 GPA. He is currently enrolled in BYU’s MPA program.
On the football field, Pulsipher has played in all 11 games this season, starting the last four at linebacker. He has 47 tackles, one tackle for loss, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
First-team Academic All-District honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Team ballot, with first- and second-team Academic All-America honorees to be announced in December.
