Movie Night, Open Scrimmage this Friday and Saturday at LaVell Edwards Stadium

PROVO, Utah — BYU football will conduct its first scrimmage of fall camp on Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. in LaVell Edwards Stadium. The scrimmage is open to the public and admission is free.

Parking for the event is available in the south and southeast lots at LaVell Edwards Stadium as well as the west lot. Gates 1, 5, 6, and 11 will open at 9:00 a.m., with the team taking the field shortly after 10 a.m. in advance of the scrimmage. Saturday's scrimmage will wrap up the first week of practices as the team prepares for its season opener at Nebraska on Sept. 5.

In addition to the open scrimmage on Saturday, fans can also take advantage of a special event on Friday night at LaVell Edwards Stadium. Gates (1 and 11) open at 8 p.m. for Movie Night at LaVell Edwards Stadium with the movie “Big Hero 6” starting at 9 p.m. The event is free and concessions will be open on the field for fans. Parking will be available in the south and southeast lots for movie night. Fans should bring blankets (no chairs) to sit on the field.
