PROVO, Utah—BYU football has released the 2014 fireside schedule.

The Cougars’ firesides, where the team shares spiritual thoughts and musical numbers, take place the night before road games in LDS meeting houses near the game sites. Attendance is open to the public.

"The firesides have been a way for us to make a very clear statement of what our priorities are, or should be," head coach Bronco Mendenhall said. "Football is simply the vehicle we use to help others come to a knowledge of what really brings joy and happiness to our lives. These firesides are a way for all of us to help consider our priorities through understanding the purpose of life."

BYU will also hold a fireside at the Utah State Correctional Facilities prior to the home game against Virginia and a fireside before the homecoming game against Nevada.

The BYU football team has been holding regular firesides throughout the football season since the Cougars' trip to New Mexico during the 2005 season.
