Football to conduct spring scrimmage, kids clinic on Saturday, March 29

PROVO, Utah -- The BYU football team will conduct a spring scrimmage open to the public on Saturday, March 29, at 11 a.m. MT in LaVell Edwards Stadium. 

A football clinic for kids will also take place at the stadium prior to the scrimmage. The 40-minute clinic begins at 10 a.m. MT and will be conducted by players on the team for schoolchildren up to the eighth grade. 

Following the clinic, the team will take the field to warm up for the scrimmage, which is anticipated to conclude by noon. 

Stadium gates will open at 9:30 a.m. MT. Fans are encouraged to attend and no admission will be charged. 

The KSL/IMG Radio call of the scrimmage with Greg Wrubell, Marc Lyons and Nate Meikle will air at 11 a.m. MT on KSL (102.7 FM/1160AM/KSL.com) and include post-scrimmage coverage with interviews and analysis through 1 p.m. MT. KSL Cougar Sports Saturday will continue coverage of BYU football and Cougar sports through 6 p.m. MT, including on-site coverage from the stadium until 3 p.m. MT.

BYUtv and BYU Radio will broadcast a special edition of BYU Sports Nation starting at noon MT on Saturday. The simulcast featuring hosts Jarom Jordan and Spencer Linton conducting interviews with Cougar players and coaches will be available on BYUtv and BYU Radio/Sirius XM 143 as well as online at BYUtv.org, BYUtvSports.com and via BYUtv and BYU Radio mobile apps.
