Van Noy performs well at 2014 Quicken Loans All-Star Football Challenge
Event will re-air on Feb. 2 on ESPN2 and April 27 on ESPN
DALLAS (Jan. 28, 2014) – BYU All-American linebacker Kyle Van Noy participated in the 2014 Quicken Loans All-Star Football Challenge in AT&T Stadium in Dallas, which was televised nationally Tuesday night on ESPN2.
The 16th annual event showcased 16 college football standouts competing in an exciting and entertaining skills challenge. This year's All-Star Football Challenge will re-air on ESPN2 at 2 p.m. ET on Feb. 2, as well as on ESPN at 4 p.m. ET on April 27. The ESPN broadcast team included Joe Tessitore, Todd McShay, Mark May, Chris Spielman, Raul Allegre and Kaylee Hartung.
Van Noy placed third in the Eckrich Obstacle Course with a time of 28.92 seconds during individual competition and helped his team finish second overall in the Quicken Loans Team Competition.
"I think (Van Noy's) athletic ability will translate to the NFL," analyzed ESPN's May during the telecast. "With his size at 6-foot-3 and 250 pounds, he's relentless—he's not going to stop on a play. I think that's key and that's really what you want to see out of a linebacker."
The Quicken Loans All-Star Football Challenge is one of seven live television properties owned and operated by Intersport.
