Fans invited to football scrimmage on August 10 at LaVell Edwards Stadium

Cougar Nation can meet the team, buy BYU team apparel at Cougar Kickoff on August 21

PROVO, Utah—BYU begins preparations for the 2013 football season today with the first practice of fall camp. Fans will have an opportunity to preview the team next Saturday morning during a practice and scrimmage at LaVell Edwards Stadium.

Fans are invited to LaVell Edwards Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 10 to watch the team conduct an open practice/scrimmage that begins at 10 a.m. MDT. Admission is free and the gates open at 9 a.m.

Cougar Nation will also have an opportunity to meet members of the team at the annual Cougar Kickoff at Haws Field on Wednesday, Aug. 21. BYU welcomes fans to Haws Field to meet with members of the football team at the annual Cougar Kickoff from 6-8:30 p.m. MDT. Fans can also meet members of the women’s soccer, women’s volleyball and men’s and women’s cross country teams and the Spirit Squad.

In conjunction with Cougar Kickoff, the annual Cougar Sale also begins at 6 p.m. on Aug. 21. The Cougar Sale takes place at 6 p.m. in the Indoor Practice Field, located directly east of Haws Field. Cougar Nation may purchase apparel, cleats and more at the sale.
