PROVO, Utah - In preparation for the 2013 season, BYU will host its third annual Football Media Day on Wednesday, June 26, at the BYU Broadcasting Building on campus.

In addition to many interview sessions attended by the media throughout the day, fans can expect a day filled with 15 hours of BYU football programming on BYUtv, including three new shows and rebroadcasts of football specials, and four hours of online video chats on BYUtvSports.com.

Highlighting the day will be two live shows and an all new True Blue. Both live programs will be simulcast on WatchESPN.com/ESPN3 in addition to BYUtv and www.byutvsports.com.

The first live show, "The State of the Program," airs at 10 a.m. MDT (noon EDT) and will feature athletic director Tom Holmoe, head coach Bronco Mendenhall and Cougar assistant coaches discussing the current team, the upcoming season and what to look forward to in 2013.

Following the first live show, “True Blue: 2013 Football Preview,” airs at 11 a.m. MDT (1 p.m. EDT). The one-hour special will offer insights from players on the team, taking a look at what the Cougars have been doing since spring football ended. Fans can tune in to hear from Preseason All-Americans Kyle Van Noy and Cody Hoffman, quarterbacks Taysom Hill and Ammon Olsen, and running backs Jamaal Williams and Michael Alisa, among others.

The second live show, “LaVell Edwards and the BYU Quarterback Factory,” will air at 3 p.m. MDT (5 p.m. EDT) and revisit many great moments from hall of fame coach LaVell Edwards’ tenure at BYU. Some of the legendary quarterbacks who played for coach Edwards will join him to discuss the incredible teams, plays and stories both on and off the field. Robbie Bosco, Ty Detmer, Gifford Nielsen, Steve Sarkisian, Gary Sheide, Marc Wilson and Steve Young are all scheduled to participate on the show.

BYU Radio, available on SiriusXM Channel 143, will also be a part of the day with original content along with simulcasts of the three new BYUtv shows. Local live radio broadcasts will originate from Football Media Day, including a special live coverage on KSL Newsradio from 12 - 3 p.m. MDT.

If you miss "The State of the Program," “LaVell Edwards and the BYU Quarterback Factory” or “True Blue: 2013 Football Preview” during the day they will be rebroadcast later during primetime from 6-9 p.m. MT and again from 9 p.m.-12 a.m. MT. They will also be available on demand at byutvsports.com.

Other shows will include a replay of the 2012 Poinsettia Bowl and rebroadcasts of "Football Signing Day," "Spring Football Special" and "BYU Football: A Polynesian Pipeline."

In addition to BYUtv's programming throughout the day, byutvsports.com will be offering live video webchats with coaches and current and former players. Fans can submit questions for the webchats via Twitter using #BYUMediaDay. Additional details on the webchats will be available later this week on the BYUtvsports.com blog.
