BYU-Air Force Game 3 Cancelled
Because of outfield conditions, the third game of the BYU-Air Force baseball series at Larry H. Miller Field was cancelled.
Officials delayed the start of the game for an hour and 15 minutes before making the final decision. Details are pending the makeup of the cancelled game, but Mountain West Conference rules make it a doubleheader on the next available date when the two teams close out the regular season at the Air Force Academy the end of May.
BYU, now 17-12 overall and 5-3 in the MWC, next plays on Thursday evening at UNLV to start a three-game series in Las Vegas. AFA, now 12-19 and 0-7, is scheduled to play this Tuesday afternoon at Greeley, Colo., against the University of Northern Colorado.
