Benefit for Cory Snyder's Daughter

OREM, UTAH – Cory Snyder, Former Major League and BYU baseball star, invites golfers to participate in a benefit shotgun scramble Tuesday, April 20th at 9:00 a.m.

A registration fee of $75.00 ($300 per foursome) includes greens fees for 18 holes of golf at The Links at Sleepy Ridge in Orem, Utah. Lunch will also be provided as well as a brief instruction By BYU Golf Coach, Bruce Brockbank at 8:30 a.m.

Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. Online registration is available at: snydergolf.regtix.com.

The benefit tournament will raise money for two young adults who have recently suffered serious injuries and both have been left paralyzed from the waist down. Amberley Snyder and Taylon Moody, both 19 years of age are in need of financial help to offset the cost’s of medical expenses.

Two sponsors will also reward holes-in-one. Doug Smith Autoplex will donate a car and MillerWade/Fader Trust It will feature a trip to The Masters.

The tournament will precede a benefit concert. The concert will be held on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at the UVU McKay Event Center in Orem, Utah. Doors open at 5:30 pm. The concert begins at 7:00 pm with a performance by nationally acclaimed Center Stage Performing Arts Studios with an exciting ballroom presentation. The concert will feature the music of country stars, Billy Dean, Due West along with upcoming country star Katie Riggs. Also to perform is the amazing boy band sensation, V Factory. The concert will be hosted by David and Doug Osmond.
