Schedule For 2010 Season
Seven teams who played in the NCAA baseball regional’s are among the schools on BYU’s schedule for 2010.
Texas A & M, Baylor, Gonzaga, Kansas State and Mountain West Conference foes TCU, San Diego State and Utah were in last season’s post-season play.
The Cougars open the home season on March 11 with a three-game weekend stand against the University of Washington, who will have a new coach. Washington State and Kansas State also highlight the non-conference teams that come to Provo in 2010.
Other teams coming to Provo include TCU, UNLV, Utah, Utah Valley and San Diego State.
The Cougars will make two trips to the state of Washington to play at Gonzaga on March 15-16. On April 26-27 BYU plays at Seattle University, which is bringing back baseball as a varsity sport beginning competition in the 2009-10 academic year.
BYU has seven games in the state of Texas with Texas A & M, Baylor, Texas-Arlington and TCU. The Cougars play at least 10 games in California against UC Riverside, UC Davis, San Jose State and in the MWC Tournament hosted by San Diego State.
