Utah Game Times Changed
Game times have been changed for the BYU-Utah baseball games this week because of hosting conflicts with the NCAA Softball Regional.
The new game times are 7 p.m., for Thursday; 7:30 p.m., for Friday; and 4 p.m., for Saturday. Thursday's game will still be televised live by BYUTV.
The baseball times vary to accommodate the daily schedule of the NCAA Softball Regionals.
BYU has a 32-18 overall record and a 14-7 mark in the Mountain West Conference for second place, two games ahead of the Utes, 24-26 and 12-9.
Jesse Craig (9-2, 2.89) returns to the mound for BYU on Thursday in the televised game starting at 7 p.m., in the series opener against Stephen Fife (6-2, 4.50). Sophomore Jordan Muir (5-4, 5.40) takes the hill for BYU in the Friday game at 7:30 p.m., against southpaw Eric King (6-2, 3.95). The series closes on Saturday at 4 p.m., when lefty Jake Wortham (6-4, 4.46) is scheduled to take the mound for the Cougars against Lucas Trinnaman (0-5, 7.24).
