A dozen BYU seniors will be honored Tuesday in pre-game ceremonies before the final home baseball game of the season.

The Cougars, 26-26, host Utah Valley State, 17-34, at 7 p.m. It is also the final instate game for the Wolverines this season.

Seniors Cortland Andrews, Anthony Bingham, Brandon Christiansen, Jeff Hiestand, Adrian Molina, Casey Nelson, James Platt, Ben Saylor, Justin Su`a, Marcos Villezcas, Patrick Wells, and Mitch Woolf will play their final home game at Larry H. Miller Field.

"It's going to be tough to replace them, it's been fun coaching them," said BYU Coach Vance Law.

Platt (0-1, 7.91), a righthander, has been designated as BYU's starting pitcher to face UVSC's lefty Dan Christensen (0-3, 8.03).

The rest of BYU's rotation is pending for the Thursday, Friday and Saturday games which all have been moved up to 11:30 a.m., against Utah at Franklin Covey Field. The UVSC game will determine how the Cougars' pitching will play out for the rest of the week, taking into account BYU plays a week from Tuesday in the Mountain West Conference Tournament at Las Vegas.

The Wolverines won the last meeting between the two schools, 13-6 in Orem, but the Cougars won the first game at UVSC and the second game which was played at BYU.

The only live audio coverage for Tuesday's BYU-UVSC games will be via subscription links on the Internet on both school's athletic sites.
