BYU to host UNC Greensboro for three-game series
PROVO, Utah — BYU baseball is back in action on Thursday with a three-game, non-conference series with UNC Greensboro, April 20-22, at Miller Park.
The Thursday and Friday games are scheduled for 6 p.m. MDT, with the Saturday game slated to begin at 1 p.m. MDT.
BROADCAST PLANS. All three games will be broadcast live on the BYU Radio App and BYU Radio 107.9 FM in the northern Utah market, with Greg Wrubell on the call. BYUtv will also broadcast the games live on the BYUtv App, with Dave McCann and Gary Sheide providing play-by-play and analysis.

COUGARS-SPARTANS HISTORY. Thursday will be the first meeting between BYU and UNC Greensboro in any team sport.
UNCG RECAP. The Spartans are 17-20 on the year and 6-6 in road games. UNCG is coming off a 3-9 loss to Gardner-Webb on Tuesday and played a three games series over the weekend with The Citadel, dropping two of the three games (3-5, 3-0, 3-9) at home.
BYU REVIEW. The Cougars enter the weekend series with a 14-21 record and are 8-5 at home. BYU is 2-2 in its last four games, having lost to Utah 29-14 on Tuesday after winning a three-game series with Santa Clara over the weekend (6-11, 13-8, 5-4).
UP NEXT. Following the UNC Greensboro series, BYU returns to WCC play with a three-game series versus Portland, April 27-29, at Miller Park.
