PROVO, Utah — BYU baseball opened the 2022 home season at Miller Park on Thursday with the debut of a new state-of-the-art video board addition at Larry H. Miller Field.

“I’m very excited about the new video board," said BYU head coach Mike Littlewood. "It brings an entirely new level of fan experience to Cougar baseball. I want to thank our incredible donors for making it possible.”

The new video board was installed in right-centerfield during the off-season and completed just in time for the three-game series verses Milwaukee-Wisconsin, March 3-4. The board is 22 feet tall and 50 feet wide.

A new cutting edge video board is also being installed at Gail Miller Field and will be ready in time for the BYU softball season opener scheduled for March 15 against Maine.

“The new video scoreboard will greatly enhance the softball game day experience for our fans,” said BYU softball head coach Gordon Eakin. "Our players are going to love it, and it will elevate our recruiting going into the future.”

The softball board is 12-feet tall and 33-feet wide and is also being installed in right-center where the original scoreboard was located.

Both video boards at Miller Park were manufactured by ANC, an experience design and execution company, located in Purchase, New York. The project was funded through private donations from BYU Athletics donors.
